SPIN - SWIM - PICKLEBALL
Last September, beloved community member Ben Yellin was in a cycling accident that left him with a spinal cord injury. He has a very long road ahead with uncertainties and unknown costs as Ben continues his rehabilitation. There are necessities ranging from home modifications, equipment, ongoing therapies and countless things that no one is ever prepared for. We are here to help them in their time of need.
For years, Ben's wife, Marcy, has brought joy to our Early Childhood Program with her musical talent as her beautiful voice and spirited songs have filled our classrooms and hallways each week.
Ben LOVES biking! He spent 23 years involved with the Pan Mass Challenge, raising over $76K for cancer, rode his bike across Israel three times to help raise money for the Ramah Camps Tikvah Program for Disabilities, and ran the Tour de Shuls on the North Shore to raise money for Camp Ramah in the Berkshires where Marcy & Ben’s son Jacob spent many summers. Beyond the singing and charity efforts, Marcy and Ben have been instrumental in creating many programs for children and adults with disabilities in the community. The Yellins have given so much to our community and now is our chance to give back!
