Community Conversation Series with Chloe Valdary

June 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for a conversation with activist, lecturer and writer, Chloe Valdary. Valdary will be interviewed by JCCNS Executive Director Marty Schneer, and will focus on Antisemitism, Israel, and The Theory of Enchantment, an innovative framework for compassionate antiracism that combines social emotional learning, character development, and interpersonal growth as tools for leadership development.

Valdary has trained around the world, including in South Africa, The Netherlands, Germany and Israel. She has lectured in universities across America and her work has been published in the Tablet Magazine, Huffington Post, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Valdary was raised in a church that observed Old Testament holidays such as Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah. While studying at the University of New Orleans she founded the pro-Israel student group, Allies of Israel, to promote the Jewish state and Israel advocacy on campus.
