In this internationally acclaimed feature-length documentary, Israeli-born filmmaker Becky Tahel grapples with her own understanding of religion, love, and identity after her younger sister marries outside of the Jewish faith. Initially judgmental of her sister’s decision, Tahel embarks on an introspective quest that leads her on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery. Through talking with rabbis, scholars, mentors, and family members and attending a life-altering midrasha in Jerusalem, Tahel comes to embrace the traditional concepts of loyalty to family and culture, and the modern ideal of following one’s heart to happiness.
