The Supreme Court and the Culture Wars

September 23 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for bagels, coffee and learning in the JCCNS Sukkah!

The Supreme Court is the most popular branch of government, and its authority comes from public acceptance of its decisions. As the Court prepares to hear cases on “culture war” issues like guns and abortion this term, will its rulings reflect public opinion or deviate from it? What will happen if the Court’s rulings are out of step with the country?

Dan Urman is the Director of the Undergraduate Law and Public Policy Program at the School of Law at Northeastern University.

FREE but you MUST RSVP to Sara Ewing by September 22 – sewing@jccns.com
