Ruth R. Wisse, Free as a Jew: A Personal Memoir of National Self-Liberation

November 7 @ 7:00 pm

Free as a Jew

In her new, profoundly moving memoir, Ruth R. Wisse, Professor Emerita of Yiddish Literature at Harvard University, chronicles her extraordinary life that began on the run with her family’s escape from the Nazis. Wisse, a fierce defender of the State of Israel and antisemitism, takes us on her path as a trailblazer who fought to gain equality for women and Jewish literature in higher education.

In conversation with Andrea Levin, Executive Director and President of CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis)
