DESCRIPTION:with Ira Kohler \nJoin us for an evening with Ira Kohler\, who will be discussing his memoir\, Once a Paratrooper. At the age of 21 Kohler moved to Israel and served as a Lone Soldier in the 890th Battalion of the IDF Paratroopers Brigade. On October 7 he found himself on the front lines on Israel’s toughest day\, fighting in Kibbutz Be’eri\, and went on to spend over 100 days inside the Gaza Strip. \nIn conversation with Tom Cheatham\, former CFO of the JCCNS and Temple B’nai Abraham board member\, who is now involved with Madrasa\, an organization that teaches Arabic to Israelis toimprove regional communication. \nIncludes book sale and signing. \nEvent is free and open to all.  Please RSVP below. \nCommunity Partners:
