Their dynamic program showcases beloved Israeli songs in Hebrew and English that weave together the rich tapestry of Israel’s 77-year journey – from pioneer dreams to modern-day achievements and challenges. \nMore than a concert\, Hashayara creates an intimate space of connection and shared experience. This is not merely entertainment – it’s a journey of heart and soul that deepens the bonds between Israel and the Jewish diaspora. \nThrough music and storytelling\, Hashayara celebrates Israel’s diverse culture\, innovative spirit\, and the incredible resilience that has defined Israel since its founding. Their interactive performance blends traditional favorites with contemporary Israeli hits\, creating a powerful connection between Israel’s past and present. \nHashayara Ensemble: The band members\, accomplished musicians and dedicated educators from Dror Israel\, work year-round with youth across the country\, embodying the organization’s commitment to building a strong\, inclusive Israeli society. Following the challenges of October 2023\, their music has become a bridge of unity\, hope and healing\, reaching \n\n										\nRuthy Faust\, HaShayara’s singer\, is a member of Ravid\, an educational Kibbutz in the Galilee. As an educator for nearly three decades\, she has guided educational trips to Poland focused on Holocaust education and Jewish heritage\, and for the past 6 years\, she has served as the principal of Dror’s High School in Karmiel. \n																														 \nTamir Haber is a guitarist with over 20 years of live performance experience. He teaches seventh to tenth graders in the city of Akko. Since 2009\, he has worked with Jewish communities worldwide\, leading educational programs and Israel trips. He has served 190 days as a reservist in the IDF since October 7th. \n																														 \nOri Keren is a pianist\, singer-songwriter\, and actor who performs with various ensembles and appears in multiple musical productions\, connecting with diverse audiences and communities. He also teaches ninth grade at Dror’s unique high school in Jaffa. \n																														 \nYotam Marck is a bass guitarist currently residing in Kibbutz Eshbel in northern Israel. He specializes in providing both formal and informal educational services to schools\, municipalities and security forces\, including the IDF and Israel Police. Over the past year\, Yotam has completed more than 120 days of reserve duty.

DESCRIPTION:Please join Eric Knight for an overview on identity theft\, how to safeguard against becoming a victim\, and what to do if it happens to you. \nBagels and coffee will be served. \nEvent is FREE\, please RSVP below. \nEric Knight’s biography:\nEric Knight served as a Private Investigator\, Special Investigator for the State Ethics Commission\, Director of Civil Process for the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office\, and worked for the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General for 26 years in a number of roles including: Chief of the Criminal Investigations Division\, Chief of the Forensic Investigations Division\, and IT and Operations Manager. \nHe was a sworn officer in a number of capacities for almost 25 years including as a part-time Marblehead Police Officer\, a Deputy Sheriff in 11 Massachusetts counties and as a Special Deputy United States Marshall.  He was a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner for 10 years\, was formerly certified as a Certified Fraud Specialist and was an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Knight was also a member of the High Technology Crime Investigations Association for many years including serving as Treasurer of the Massachusetts Chapter. \nKnight has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from UMass and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in IT from Salem State.
