​Baby and Me


​​Spend time with other parents/caregivers while your little ones play. Enjoy music, movement, reading, and parenting advice. Perfect for children 3 months to 3 years.

​Young Family Shabbat


​​Join our family-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat co-hosted by the JCCNS, Temple Sinai, Shirat Hayam and PJ Library. Hear a PJ Library story, sing and dance with the Rabbis and Cantors! Dinner will be served. FREE and open to all.

​Parent/Teacher Workshop on the Science of Human Behavior


​​Susan Shea, a licensed applied behavior analyst, will talk about how context makes behavior happen and not happen, including what the functions of behavior are, and how the interplay of ability and motivation impact behavior. Everyone will leave with a simple understanding of the science of human behavior, and useful applications for helping and working with young kids. ​Shabbat Celebrations for All Ages


​​Welcoming Shabbat is for all ages! We invite everyone to join our intergenerational Kabbalat Shabbat with our Early Childhood friends. Enjoy music with Marcy and create a fun project. Hugs and smiles abound at this feel good community event. Grandchildren are not required.

​Musical Adventures with Dara

​All families are welcome to attend a morning of music, crafts and light breakfast. Our featured guest, Dara VanRemoortel, incorporates old favorites, new songs, finger plays, rhythmic activities, creative movement, and instrument playing. She is an early childhood music specialist who has been performing at libraries and teaching at local preschools for over 20 years.

​Winter Scholastic Book Fair

​​Get your holiday shopping done early this year at the popular Annual JCCNS Winter Book Fair. Choose from wonderful children’s books and gifts while supporting our fabulous Early Childhood Program. Fair begins Monday, December 2nd and runs through Saturday, December 7th.

Various days of our Book Fair will feature a Reader-in-Residence! Join us and enjoy story time at the JCCNS. Everyone is welcome!

​Great Early Childhood Slumber Party 

​Need time to shop? Drop your child off (ages 2 years to 6 years) in PJs at the JCCNS for a super fun-filled slumber party. The evening will include a movie, stories, art projects and light dinner.

​6th Annual Dreidel Dash Races

​We are running two races again this year – so everyone can get in on the fun!

11:30AM - Kids 1-Mile race on the Marblehead Bike Path.
12:00PM - 10K race from the JCCNS, around Marblehead Neck and back.

10K Fee: $20 pre-registered, $25 on race day
1-Mile Fee: $5

​Open Gym For Young Families


​​Come to the JCCNS on Sunday mornings and let your little ones climb, jump and play on our indoor gym equipment while letting out some extra winter energy. Bring friends and have fun indoors.

​CJP Welcome Baby! Monthly Meet-Ups


The Welcome Baby! initiative is designed to welcome new parents (of babies born or adopted in the last 6 months, with at least one parent identifying as Jewish) to the Jewish community with a home visit, tote bag full of great baby gear, and resources customized to the families’ needs.
