Dear JCCNS Members and Community,
We are thrilled to share that construction on our brand-new front entrance has begun! This is an exciting step forward in enhancing the accessibility, security, and overall experience for everyone at the JCCNS.
During Construction:
- The main entrance/exit of the JCCNS will be CLOSED. A temporary main entrance/exit will be located on the side of the building—through the gym door by the parking lot. Clear signage has been posted to help guide you. This entrance/exit will be for all members and guests, including those needing ADA accessibility. Please be extra cautious of pedestrians in the parking lot, particularly at morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times.
- The front circle will be CLOSED to cars and pedestrians, as that will be a parking and staging area for some of the construction vehicles.
- The playgrounds will be open for use as soon as the flooring is completed (early next week!)
- The gymnasium will still be utilized during construction; however, a dividing wall has been constructed to separate the temporary entrance/exit walkway and the gymnasium area. Those utilizing the gymnasium space will have to walk through the walkway and enter the gym through a hallway/door between the PrimeTime and J Fit room (signs have been posted!)
To ensure everyone’s safety, we will have increased security on site, and all members and visitors will be required to scan in at the side entrance upon entry.
Families in our Early Childhood Program will use a separate designated entrance for drop-off and pick-up. Additional information will be shared directly with ECP families.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our facilities. We can’t wait to welcome you through our new, more secure and accessible front entrance soon!
