Camp Simchah Specialty - JCCNS, Jewish Community Center of the North Shore
Camp Simchah Specialty - M-F 9-4 for grades 3-7

Campers who want to spend more focused time on specific activities will have fun developing skills, while also learning the ways in which communication and team-building impact their individual performance. Campers will have the benefit of our incredible aquatics program, as they receive daily instructional swim lessons and also spend their days working on their specialty.

Camp Simchah Specialty campers attend daily from 9am-4pm, and will dive into their chosen Simchah Specialty camp for an engaging, fun, and in-depth camp experience. Our Spirit Days will also be part of the Simchah Specialty camp fun! Campers may choose to register for some weeks of Camp Simchah Specialty and other weeks of Camp Simchah. Choose the programs they’re most interested in to craft a summer they will love!

SKETCHBOOK ART

Camp Simchah Specialty is bringing the Brooklyn Art Museum’s (BAM) Sketchbook project to Summer at the J! Each child will start with a blank BAM SKetchbook and will learn various skills, styles, and techniques for filling their Sketchbook with their own art! Campers will also explore how different mediums can be used to fill their books! Sketchbooks will be mailed (by us) to BAM for the touring Sketchbook exhibit. We’ll follow each book and will get and share updates when books are viewed and where! What a cool way to engage with our greater world community through art!
