Stephanie has worked at the JCCNS for 6 years as the Early Childhood Director. She holds a degree in English and a Masters in Infant Toddler Care and Early Childhood Administration. She raised her family in Beverly and now lives in Salem with her husband.

Heather Greenberg — KinderCamp Director and Masoret Teacher

Heather has worked at the JCCNS for 10 years, primarily as a Early Childhood teacher and KinderCamp Director. She now serves as the Early Childhood Coordinator, working on special events, inclusion support and teacher support for our Early Childhood Center. Heather lives in Swampscott with her husband and two children.

Zach Dixey - Co-Director of JCCNS Inclusion Camp

Zach Dixey serves as Co-Director of JCCNS Inclusion Camp alongside his colleague, Melissa Caplan. Zach is a seasoned JCCNS employee, having worked at the J for 8 years. Last summer, Zach worked on staff for Melissa with our inclusion campers and he
immediately saw what a special program it is. Zach also works at the Village school in Marblehead as the in-building substitute, enjoying his time educating students in the ABA room. Zach is thrilled to be returning to our Inclusion Camp this summer in a leadership position and is excited for all the fun we have planned!

Heather Gravelese — Youth & Family Director, J Adventure Director

Heather has served as the the Youth and Family Director at the JCCNS since Fall 2020. She is also the Summer at the J Camp Simchah Director, and is one of those people who just LIVES for camp! Heather is a lifer at the JCCNS: The J has been her second home since she was 5 years old when she joined the swim team, then called The North Shore Piranhas. She spent her summers attending Camp Simchah as a camper, and later worked in both the Aquatics Department and the Business Office as an administrative assistant before moving into her current positions.

Jonathan Heller

Jonathan Heller - Camp Simchah Director

Jonathan is no stranger to camp Simchah… he spent many summers as a camper and later served as a counselor and assistant director. He is a true veteran Jewish camp and education leader with more than 30 years of experience working with children and families, having recently completed his 25th summer as Director of Camp Hadar, a Jewish day camp in New Hampshire. Jonathan brings deep experience in staff leadership, program design, and long-term camp sustainability and we are thrilled to have him! Jonathan is also a Grade 6 Math and Science Teacher and Lead Teacher in the Marblehead Public Schools. He lives in Marblehead with his wife and two daughters and values the strong partnership between camps, schools, and families.
