The Art of War: The Impact of World War II on Europe’s Greatest Artistic Treasures

Join Izzi Abrams for a four-week course exploring European art during World War II. Learn about the private Jewish collections that were stolen or destroyed by the Nazis, Hitler’s campaign against so-called “degenerate art,” the Monument Men’s rescue efforts, and the ongoing struggles over restitution that continue today.

Session dates are January 29th, February 5th, February 12th, and February 19th.
