In April 2024, the JCCNS Board of Directors voted unanimously in favor of launching the “HERE For YOU” Capital Campaign with an initial goal of raising $2.5 million over a three-year period. Just one year later, we are thrilled to have reached this initial goal, and we are equally excited to share that we have established an additional Capital Campaign project that will bring our new goal to $2.75 million. Our campaign project priorities included facility/building upgrades and modernizations focused on increasing the security and accessibility of our campus to help ensure that the JCCNS continues to effectively serve our community for generations to come. While we’ve already seen the benefits of our first few completed projects, there is more to be done.
Funds raised with the JCCNS Capital Campaign will allow us to modernize and enhance building security while adding accessibility features to our facility.
Projects
The proposed improvements are listed below. Check back for updates as we continue toward our goal of bringing new and exciting changes to the JCCNS!
- Accessible splash pad in pool area (COMPLETED!)
- New pool deck for the indoor pool (COMPLETED!)
- External lighting (COMPLETED!)
- New accessible playground surfaces (COMPLETED!)
- Front entrance airlock for enhanced building security (COMPLETED!)
- New energy-efficient boiler
- Parking area resurfacing
- Weiss-Kirstein room modernization
