Journey to Israel

Jerusalem, Israel

A combined trip with the JCCNS and Congregation Shirat Hayam

May 11-22, 2025

Join Rabbi Ragozin from Congregation Shirat Hayam and JCCNS Executive Director Marty Schneer on this special journey at a pivotal time in Israel’s history.

You are about to embark on a journey to Israel. Whether you are a first-time traveler or have experienced Israel many times, the trip will provide an insider’s look at Israel–its history, development, issues of geopolitics and current events. There will be opportunities to discuss the idea of community, diversity and shared society – all this in the light of the traumatic events of October 7.  Our conversations will enable us to reflect how it all relates to the world of our own JCC or congregation. We hope this journey will be a transformative experience!

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation will not result in a full refund. Partial refund (for food, entrance fees, etc) will depend on timing of cancellation and the effect on shared group costs.

If you cancel and you reserved a double occupancy room with another traveler who does not cancel, we cannot refund your portion of the hotel costs.

We will do our best to reimburse for some expenses, however part of each traveler’s overall cost is determined by some fixed shared costs (bus, tour educator, speakers, etc.) and cancellations may result in a smaller group that would require a higher per person cost. We highly recommend you acquire travel insurance.
